DHARMA BOOK GROUP

The Dharma Book Club will meet remotely via Zoom to read and discuss books about our practice.

Meetings are held every two months on Tuesday evenings from 7:00-8:30 pm on Zoom. Our first meeting is March 10.

Before our initial meeting, please read our first book, Tara Brach's Trusting the Gold: Uncovering Your Natural Goodness. The book is available on Tara’s website and other locations.

ABout the Group

The Dharma Book Club meets to discuss books about our practice. The peer-led meetings will meet every two months on Tuesday evenings from 7–8:30 pm. No special experience as a practitioner is required; all are welcome. Our book choices will be accessible works for the general population of practitioners. This club is an opportunity to deepen our individual practices while also sharing in community and meeting like-minded readers.

Question? Please contact Steven at steven@insightsd.org or Molly at molly.w@insightsd.org.

Is There a cost to join this group?

Following a 2,600-year tradition in which the community financially supports the offerings provided, the teachings and meditation sessions in this group are offered on a generosity (Dāna) basis. No one is turned away because they cannot give. We are encouraging members to give what their budget and hearts of generosity allow, and/or to sign up for monthly giving on our donations page.
